The code base could use with a significant cleanup and abstraction.

Creating language files , locale aware date, time and numbers input/output in forms, and controlling localization in templates.

An example:

Allow users to edit all content on the site but like Wikipedia store revisions for each stage of an edit so it is easy to roll-back if ever needed.

Currently links that are dead are not discovered until a user reports them and even then there may not be be enough activity to take care of them.

The proposal is to develop a script that runs through links on a daily basis matches the the hosts' "link removed" or "dead" and flags it as a dead link. After flagging it and a number of days have passed the system will check the flagged links again to see if there is a difference. If so it "unflags" it and assumes it has been edited, otherwise it will remove it.

A list of things that need to be addressed:

• home page needs to be more descriptive of what tehorng is
• home page could use a revamp in terms of fresh/popular content as it seems too busy and useless
• should display amount of times an object has been reported

Needs more user-friendly guides to detail how the system works. This goes for the code base as well.

Actions should reward reputation, users can use reputation as currency, reputation unlocks different privileges. Think similar to stack overflow on a more basic level.
