FollowMesh is a WordPress plugin that creates a global, distributed social media platform by creating a simple way for WordPress users to post status updates on their own blog, and folow those of others, regardless of where their blog is hosted.

This is a proof of concept release of FollowMesh, so don't expect very much. It implements the minimal viable feature set, which is simply posting publis status updates and following those of others.

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

e.g.

1. Navigate to the 'Add New' in the plugins dashboard
2. Search for 'FollowMesh'
3. Click 'Install Now'
4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

1. Navigate to the 'Add New' in the plugins dashboard
2. Navigate to the 'Upload' area
3. Select followmesh.zip from your computer
4. Click 'Install Now'
5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

1. Download followmesh.zip
2. Extract the followmesh directory to your computer
3. Upload the followmesh directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
