Dependabot was set up to create pull requests against the branch new_master, but couldn't find it.

If the branch has been permanently deleted you can update Dependabot's target branch from your dashboard.

I wanted to drop ya a line and let ya know where I was at..

I have it all finished up. well the initial coding part. I have to finish up going through and getting the major kinks out.. and the proof of concept will be ready for you to take a peek at.

There are things that could use some changes.. and i realized this after the fact. but it's not a big deal to change it up later. some things that will reduce code.. Good news is the dialog does come Up. I changed the tree up a little so it dynamically adds the events if a branch gets expanded. instead of loading them all initially. this lends it's self to dynamically updating. so if an event hits and that event is for the branch you are in and that event isn't in there. just collapse the branch and expand it again and the item will now show up. but because of the sheer number of events that some of these plugins can have it's a lot of information to load in one shot.

I really made use of the EventInfo class which handles pretty much all of the event stuff.. so now all the dialog has to do is grab the data from the EventInfo class. so the need for the complex dictionaries in the add event dialog went bye bye. I still have some more work to do but no reason at this point why i shouldn't be able to shoot it over to ya by early evening tomorrow. or possibly even in the morning if i get up early or have problems sleeping.

But I think you are going to like the idea behind it. and change it up some. But i think it's the right way to deal with the events. I will put it up on my github branch if you wanted to take a look see at the code.. it's not running 100% right and it's a first draft so be easy...LOL

When the plugin is disabled (in Autostart), the plugin still tries to connect to LIRC server. Occurs after adding the plugin and no device found.
