The route for / returns HTML, but that HTML is not displayed correctly; it is shown verbatim.

This issue is caused by Content-Type being hard-coded to text/plain. In this case, Content-Type should betext/html.

This is a state issue.

1. GET /?foo=bar will place foo --> bar in the params data structure
2. If GET/?baz=quux is requested thereafter, both foo --> bar and baz --> quux will be in params

Only baz --> quux should be in params when the 2nd request is made.
