bluefish editor has support for plugins.

1. Would like to add a GtkWidgetExt plugin

2. add "multiline" yes/no preference to bluefish

1. GtkNoteBookExt to support the multiline yes/no attribute, which defaults to "no" which represents standard GtkNotebook behaviour.

This allows to drop in the widget, to replace the GtkNotebook in most applications

(However it would be disabled because of the default)

2. add support for the yes/no multiline attribute to geany, via the plugin preferences API

1. a standalone GtkWidget package of the GtkNoteBookExt widget

2. The geany plugin to use the standalone GtkNoteBookExt widget (from shared libs)

1. to provide a version of the code with in-line comments for methods and globals.

2. to provide a document explaining how the widget works with reference to the gtk API.

submit a geany plugin to the geany plugin repos

geany has been released with some code changes (e.g. refactored out interface.c and some others) hence the prototype code doesn't work with the current 31/7/2012 geany source.
