A Motorola M6800 emulator core written in Lua.

Requirements

Either the bit32 or BitOp module for bitwise operators.

Usage

This emulator core is modular, like the early microcomputers. It should be able to emulate most M6800-based computers, but you need to "wire it up" yourself, just like the old days.

-- master object for the computer
-- knows about CPU, memory, everything else
-- plus cycle count, instruction count, etc
-- and each object receives a pointer to the objects it needs to know about.
-- CPU gets memory
-- memory does not get CPU!!
-- they all get Debug?
-- what about debug callbacks maybe?
-- and they all get UI

-- the CPU shouldn't read_rom wtf
