Qt4 is no longer supported and support for it has been dropped from the portage tree for some time.
I don't know if ktikz supports Qt5, if it does I guess the ebuild should be updated, otherwise it seems like either ktikz needs to be updated to Qt5 or should probably be dropped.
media-video/bcwc_pcie fails to compile with 4.9.203 (and probably other versions as well)
Hi Tilo, it seems like for the bcwc_pcie module we should be using the master
branch instead of the mainline
branch, see patjak/facetimehd#193 (comment)
I get the compilation error from that linked issue on 4.9.203 with the current ebuild which uses the mainline
branch.
EAPI0 and EAPI5 errors
Hi Tilo,
As of I believe yesterday I'm getting errors when syncing about the use of EAPI0 and EAPI5 for some ebuilds from this overlay

when syncing my repository.
I realised that /usr/portage/eclass/git-2.eclass has been replaced with git-r3.eclass.
media-sound/pulseaudio-9999::toaster inherits git-2 though. Would it be possible to either change that to git-r3 or to put a git-2.eclass in the toaster repository?

How to select VIDEOBUF2_DMA_SG in kernel config?
Thanks for the ebuild for the macbook webcam!
When emerging it I ran into the issue that my current kernel doesn't have CONFIG_VIDEOBUF2_DMA_SG
enabled. I was wondering how you enabled it because apparently it's not possible to toggle it directly through make menuconfig
, it's only toggled as a dependency for all kinds of other drivers which I don't really want to install.
Of course manually adding it to the kernel config doesn't really work since it'll be removed when running make menuconfig
.
doesn't build on current gentoo-sources 4.8.1
