This factor is multiplied with the value of the variable and the result is displayed in the visu. In my example, I habe a value of a storage in percent, and in the visu I want to show the value in kWh. The conversion factor between precent and kWh in this case is 8,38 (1% equates to 8,38 kWh). Of course I can declare a new variable in the global variables list, calculate the energy value in the programme and use this variable in the visu. But it is more "quick and dirty" to use the factor.
