BrewGear is a simple application for calculating beer recipes.

Features:

• Works straight from your browser
• No internet connection required: HTML 5 storage API is used for client side storage.
• Malt, hop, water calculation
• Primary language is Dutch (anybody wants to translate?)
• SI units (grammes, litres)
• Works on Safari (out of the box), Firefox (with gears plugin) and Chrome

No Internet Explorer? Well, no.

This package contains a HTML page + scripts to calculcate beer recipes. The page is in Dutch, since that's the native language of the author.

The remainder of this document is written in Dutch too.

BrewGear is een handig tooltje voor (nederlandssprekende) hobby brouwers. Dit werk bouwt voort op de BrouwHulp van Adrie Otte (http://home.tiscali.nl/adrieotte/wp/).

BrewGear biedt de mogelijkheid om recepten op te slaan in de browser. Dit vereist ondersteuning voor een (client-side) database in de browser. Deze is standaard aanwezig in Safari (3.0 en nieuwer) en is optioneel voor Firefox (middels de Google Gears plugin).

PRINT JE RECEPTEN UIT!

Ik kan niet garanderen dat je database blijft bestaan, ook als je de browser verzoekt tijdelijke bestanden op te ruimen.

• sla maischwater op, ook als er geen maischschema velden zijn
• verbeter bestandsbeheer (zit ik in een nieuw of bestaand recept?)
