Hi @zachary-russell : I'm attempting to reproduce a code pen so I can help troubleshoot. Can you include your $tablet and $mobile grid definitions please?

At a first glance, this seems to work just fine:

I really appreciate your help here.

$phone: (
	media: "(max-width: 600px)"
);
$tablet: (
	media: "(max-width: 1024px)"
);

It looks like what I am doing here is working on CodePen as well. This means that i'm really confused now. I will do some more research and hopefully figure out what the issue is then. Is there any possibility that the order in which $tablet/$phone are being called affects the outputted CSS?

Your codepen looks a-ok to me as well. I think the next step would be to dig into your stack and make sure that your node-sass (or whichever scss preprocessor you're using) is updated to the latest stable release

@zachary-russell yes, the order in which you call them is the order in which they are output, so reverse the order for desktop-first.
