  • The styling and general look of the UI is bare.
  • the focus was on functionality
  • the cache feature might be buggy
  • the higlite feature was not implemented
  • not enough test was written

  • search should be executed while the user is typing
  • shows loader for when page is loading
  • shows empty page for empty state
  • shows error page for error state
  • Display the list of resulting movie titles as the user types

extra features implemented

  • caching results of movies
  • providing suggestions when user types (if cache is available)
  • pagination
  • debouncing requests
