To make things faster

The first issue concerns low speeds, when ball is moving towards the hole. Sometimes it just reflects from empty space right before the hole and gains additional speedup.

The second issue conerns high speeds. In some situations the ball doesn't collide with the other ball on the line and goes as if it didn't exist.

And the last one. Maybe it's not an issue but it's a question. The result of the strike depends on the place where you clicked with your mouse in situations where it should not depend. You can see this behavior in initial position. Try to send a ball straight to the pyramid with maximum. Depending on how far from the white ball you will click the result will be very different.

The problem arises from the ad script, http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js In this script, Opera gets into a code path due to the following browser sniffing –

This messing up of window.q causes the failures. If we put Gecko or Chrome into this path or simply alter 'window.q' in the code path they take, the same failures are reproduced. Seems like a case of two unrelated scripts messing up with a global variable.

If you are not using these ads, perhaps the script could be removed?
