Android FCM tester

This is a simple Android application, based on FCM quickstart samples, to debug FCM features during the development of a push notification service.

Features:

Log FCM token
Log subscription actions
Log raw JSON data received from FCM

Configure google-services.json

In the Android Studio IDE make sure to enable FCM in the application, to do that go to Tools > Firebase > Cloud Messaging > Set Up Firebase Cloud Messaging and follow the steps. The google-services.json file should now by located inside the app folder.

Download APK

Once this repository is reviewed and considered useful by the PI team, an APK will be available for download to avoid the necessity of building the package

Add instructions for google-service.json file

I think it would be helpful to add instructions of where the google-service.json file is supposed to come from and where to place it.

It was very useful while testing the Rust FCM notification library and save a lot of time to make my own!

Add a bit more vertical whitespace

This is a minor issue but I would probably add a bit more vertical whitespace:

after the buttons and
after each log entry displayed in the list and/or highlight (e.g. make bold) the timestamps, so it's easier to see when a new message starts.

We could simplify the text on the top. (We probably don't even need the subscribe to topic at this time. Consider hiding it and the text for it.)

I think it would be good to log the instance id/token right away when the app starts.

(BTW. I like that it's easy to select the token in the UI, although for now I still prefer to copy it from logcat since that is on my dev machine.)
