glare's Introduction

โœจ Hi Existance!

You are looking at an awesome student of Warsaw University of Life Sciences, that wants to do things as much as he doesn't want to do them!

๐Ÿ“œ Do I know anything?

Even though my collection of repositories is not that big, I'm still proud of it. Thanks to them and my uni, I've learned at least:

C C# CSS Dart HTML5 JSON Python Typescript Github Actions Docker Nginx NodeJS Flutter Debian Proxmox GNU Bash Git Powershell

Oh, and I can make pancakes!

๐Ÿ• Fun fact

My dogs breed is (probably) Lapinporokoira and it's a finnish lapphund that is still used to herd reindeers. Which is pretty unusual looking at the fact that we live in Poland.

glare's Issues

Frequency vs. FPS

As far as I can tell the script tries to match the desired FPS with the resolution frequency, however this does not work properly for instance if you pick 30 FPS, even with custom resolutions (and 30hz) it still is not listed under the available display modes. What I've done so far is comment the part where the frequency is checked.

My question is: does the resolution frequency really affect the FPS in the client? As far as I can tell it doesn't, the FPS just controls how the client renders frames making this an adjustment that is not needed at all, which only complicates the setup on the host.
