Keymagic 64bit not working with Win XP 64

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Windows XP 64bit (Haven't test with other 64 bit Windows.)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Left click or right click on application icon on taskbar only produce menu item 
"exit"s and quitting the application gives error msg.

some words not correctly displayed

I am using Windows 10 / 64 bit. Installed with v2.0-pre4.
font using Myanmar 3
typed in excel, most are ok. (ေခြ) is not ok.
ြေ in excel
ခြေ in word
(note the above "in word" copied from my Word seems to be ok.)
when typing in this text box seems to be correct. But the display on Excel and Word is not fine.
I am using Microsoft Office Plus professional 2016 version.

Ctrl+C/V/A doesn't work

When using Myanmar3std Layout, cannot type ငြေ

Characters don't join together. It happens in all places not only in Microsoft Office applications. Most of Special Characters are also missing.
() - + *, etc.

All the universal shortcuts are also not working with KEYMAGIC like Ctr + C/V/A. Those kinds of shortcuts work with any keyboards like Zawgyi or built-in windows keyboard (even though we r typing Myanmar Unicode Fonts), system understand those universal shortcuts.

KeyMagic take too much memory

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When typing many pages or using keymagic for a long time ( continuous using 
about 8 to 12 hours or over 20 pages typing), keymagic memory usage take about 
300 MB Ram.
2. If try to exit keymagic program, it close or terminate only keymagic.exe not 
hook-input32.exe and hook-input64.exe. Those two file still run even if 
keymagic is closed.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1.keymagic program should have something like memory flashing (I don't know how 
to call it in technical terms)
2.When close keymagic, the two hook-input should close.


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Unable to add km2 file to Keymagic

I downloaded and installed Keymagic 1.5.1 on Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition (64-bit, US English). The default keyboard is US English. The installation was successful.

Next, I downloaded a file called Tzerng_Koang.km2
However I was unable to add it to Keymagic. The error message was it already existed.

How do I solve the above issue?

Not working in Creators Update

The Keymagic stopped working in the new Creators Update of Windows 10. When I choose the layout, all i get is just latin. Please fix it :)

combined form for character codes 104F + 1004 + 103A do not display correctly on the screen

the character 'h', character code 1037, should be under 'i' and 'f'.
however, all the three characters were separated.

Seems do not to recognize capslock key

Keymagic 1.5.0.0.0 do not recognize capslock key by trying to type any Capital letter set on shift keys. @TRACK_CAPSLOCK = 'true' or 'false', or rename < VK_SHIFT to < VK_CAPSLOCK or < VK_CAPITAL, nothing did not work. Please help.

What key "commits" in myansan?

the MyanSan smart input keyboard works well BUT the only key that "commits" is enter/return. Enter/return does other unwanted things, like submitting forms, etc.

On the older version, the space bar would commit. Now the space bar does not commit anymore. Can the space bar be restored as a "commit" key, or can another key (tab?) be used instead to commit?

I'm running latest keymagic on OS X Sierra.

To treat CTRL+ALT as RALT

MSKLC supports this. KeyMagic needs to support this feature. This allow to type 
keys with RALT on laptop without RALT..

KeyMagic crash on opening Windows 7 64bit

KeyMagic 1.5.1

VC++ 2008 32 bit

Previous it was working fine. And one day, it crashed on opening.

With new user account, KeyMagic is working fine. So I suspect it is specific to that account. Do KeyMagic store cache file or user specific setting?

I had experienced the same problem 3 times in 2 separate computers. Current workaround is to open new user account and migrate the user data to new account.

Doesn't display tray icon and can't add a keyboard.

Keymagic tray icon doesn't display in tray icon at Windows 10 x64. Then I can't add keyboard file and show this message "Copying failed while registering keyboard".

Do you have any plan to update this project? This tool is really helpful but there are features still missing: string index, match any. Also there is a bug on the enter key: type some words then press enter, then press backspace, the final word will be messed up.

I'm really fond of this project and want to help improving it. There are some features I want to add:

Match any key. Currently, we can do matches on a set of characters. So, I want to have a similar set of keys, like:

$keys = VK_KEY_0 + VK_KEY_1 + VK_KEY_2 + ... + VK_KEY_9
$key[*] => '_'

// Combinations like `VK_SHIFT & VK_KEY_9` can also be used here.

Range sets: $range = ['0'-'9'] instead of $range = '0123456789'. This will have great effect on unicode sets like $range = [U2000-U20FF].
Exclude one or many characters from a set:

$range = [U2000-U20FF] - U2009
$exclude_more = $range - [U2030-U20EE]

Using regex to do something like input reversing. For example, when the number 1560 is being typed, the latest digit will be placed at the start position of the segment, and the output will be 0651. The rule for this job is

$digits = ['0'-'9']
(\b$digits[*]+) + $keys[*] => $digits[$2] + $1

// \b marks the beginning of a segment
// $digits[*]+ means "one or more of any character in the '0123456789' set"
// $1 refers to the whole (\b$digits[*]+) group

Make rotating lists to reduce the number of rules that should be defined. That means, with a single line of code like <VK_KEY_I> => {'ai', 'y', 'и', 'η'}, we can press the i key 4 times to traverse through the strings in that list.

With these additional features, the keyboard layout could be more powerful with fewer line of codes.

However I'm not familiar with the codes and the mechanism of this tool. Can you help me understand, or point out a way for me to continue to work on this project?

Hot key doesn't work on Windows Startup

I am hoping that I can press hot key to activate any keyboard when the windows 
startup. Although the program is running on startup.

In order to work, I have to close the program from menu and relaunch keymagic 
again. Then it works. How to solve this problem?

KeyBoard Created by KeyBoard Maker does not work

2. Open ZawgyiNLP.kms
3. Click Make Keyboard

Expect to see Myanmar Characters. Results in Square Boxes instead.
Additionally the km2 file created by KeyBoard Maker doesn't work. Normal
english words are produced instead of Myanmar Unicode text.

VK_ALT_GR failed on Windows 10

VK_ALT_GR doesn't work for MS Word, WordPad, Notepad, Notepad++, Chrome, and maybe other programs that I haven't tested yet. However, it works perfectly for LibreOffice and Firefox.

Doesn't work on Windows 10 64bit

I've installed KeyMagic-v2.0Pre-4 on my computer (Windows 10 64 bit).

It doesn't work at all. When I chose Myanmar 3x , it said "copying failed while registering keyboard!"

How could I fix this problem? I am completely new to this Unicode keyboard.

KeyMagic is not working in windows 10 x64

Hi Team KeyMagic,
I have successfully installed KeyMagic in Windows 10 x64. But it is not showing my native language after i typed the hot key. None of the keyboards are working in KeyMagic. Is there any problem with win 10 64 bit ?

Can't open IE when Keymagic 1.5 is turned on.

how to type geometry

I'm using macOS sierra (10.12.5). I can't type geometry using myanmar3. The "Hta (ထ)" ekayar cannot use with Yayit. The characters appeared out of order (please see attached).

Can't change keyboard after lock the computer for Windows 10

When I lock the computer and unlock the computer, I can't switch keyboard anymore. Need Keymagic to Exit and Open again.

Linux version outdated

Please! Ibus 1.4 or ubuntu 12.04 is five years ago. Nowadays all modern Linux distributions use ibus 1.5. Therefore current Linux users have been locked out from your keyboard.

Feature Request for Zawygi Mode

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run Keymagic Zawgyi L - Unicode layout
2. Type က + ျွှ
3. Type backspace once

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output: က

Keymagic 1.3 on Windows Vista 32 Bit.

Zawgyi users expect the whole pre-composed character to be deleted when 
pressing backspace. So if the whole cluster can be deleted in a single 
keystroke that would be useful.

VK_CONTROL & VK_ALT breaks the typing flow

For example, I want to add a small circle below a digit to indicate that is the least significant digit.

$digits = '0123456789'
$least_significant_mark = U0325 // ◌̥
$digits[*] + <VK_CONTROL & VK_ALT & VK_OEM_MINUS> => $1 + $least_significant_mark

However, this snippet doesn't work. The typing flow seems to be stopped as soon as the VK_CONTROL & VK_ALT combination is pressed, so it cannot recognize the previous symbol to apply the given rule.

K-Editor shows an error report

ibus-keymagic couldn't be compiled on fedora 16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. git clone https://code.google.com/p/keymagic/
2. cd keymagic/ibus
3. ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr
4. make

Should compile without error.
Instead, got following error-

Checked on online IBus reference manual, this function is still as follows-

cursor_pos :Cursor position in characters in text.

But on source repository and local /usr/include/ibus-1.0/ibusengine.h header 
file, declared with extra argument as-

Letters do not represent correctly as in Myanmar 3 keyboard layout

I would like that "letters in Myanmar 3 keyboard" to appear on the screen 
as described in Myanmar 3 keyboard layout.

Please see the attachment. i have attached "Myanmar 3 keyboard layout",and 
I have also highlighted some letters with yellow colors that are not 
displaying correctly as described in Myanmar 3 keyboard layout.

Another file with "green highlight" color is the correct one compared to 
Myanmar 3 keyboard layout. It is just for your easy reference.

Please tell me how to fix it/ please fix it for me.

Problem with Myansan Layout From KEYMAGIC Pre 2

Myansan layout has problem with ေ (Ta Way Htoe) when used in Words 2010 with MYANMAR 3 Font. It automatically changes to Myanmar Text every time.

In all other places in Windows 10 (notepad, file names, other places) are all OK. No problem with ေ .

In PowerPoint 2010, Fonts are far apart from each other.

Keymagic refuses to add km2 file

I downloaded and installed Keymagic 1.5.1 on Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition (64-bit, US English). The default keyboard is US English. The installation was successful.

Next, I downloaded a file called Tzerng_Koang.km2

However I was unable to add it to Keymagic. The error message was it already existed.

What I did next was to delete all the km2 files in the Keymagic's layout folder and tried to add Tzerng_Koang.km2. Again the same error message appeared.

How do I solve the above issue?
