django-custom-user-model's Issues

problem with UserChangeForm

hello . in case create CustomUser from AbstractUser .
in UserChangeForm i need this :

def update(request):
if request.method == 'POST':
form = UserChangeForm(request.POST , instance=request.??????)

what i must insert instead ???????????? ?

Is it open for contribution?

Hello, I liked your project and wanted to contribute to it. Is it open for contributions?
I'm asking because I didn't find any contribution.md or any information about it in readme.md.

Doesn't work with AbstractBaseUser because UserCreationForm demands username field among others

Implementing this logic with AbstractBaseUser django returns these errors

<class 'web.admin.CustomUserAdmin'>: (admin.E019) The value of 'filter_horizontal[0]' refers to 'groups', which is not an attribute of 'web.User'.
<class 'web.admin.CustomUserAdmin'>: (admin.E019) The value of 'filter_horizontal[1]' refers to 'user_permissions', which is not an attribute of 'web.User'.
<class 'web.admin.CustomUserAdmin'>: (admin.E033) The value of 'ordering[0]' refers to 'username', which is not an attribute of 'web.User'.

Implementing this logic with AbstractUser django returns these errors

How come? I thought email was replaced as username as the username field? Am I missing something here?

Can you add a license?

Hi! I would like to use your code in a project of mine. Would you please consider adding a free license to your repository, so I can do that legally? I would suggest a BSD/MIT variation, but GPL is fine for me as well.

Thank you for the code and the tutorial!
