c64-joystick-switcher's Introduction

Hi there!

⚡ I'm not an electronic engineer, I just couldn't afford real LEGOs so I play around with cheap modules, KiCAD and a soldering iron instead. I like designing PCBs of things I've seen, most of them I only build so that I would have one of them, the resulting files you'll find in the various repositories here. As for guarantees, there are none.

c64-joystick-switcher's Issues

secondary fire on C64

I love the switcher!
I'd add to it a feature so that when using port 2, the ALT_FIRE pushes the FIRE on port 1 instead of switching to the paddle pot

Need Transistor?

PCB

Hi, i need a some PCBs from you, can answer me. Thanks

Switching Issue... maybe?

Hi
I've built both this and the mega switcher recently. Mega switcher works perfectly so that's awesome. Switch back and forth as you please no issue.
This one though is acting odd, starts off in port 2 (as does mega switcher), switch to port one and can't switch back to port 2 without a power cycle to reset it.
I've tried the obvious of switching the CD4053's and NE555 with known working ones in case they were bad, but they are not.
I assumed they'd both function basically the same for switching as there's only minor differences (ignoring the auto fire....which is disabled).
Kinda has me scratching my head. haha
