- Make unit, item or upgrade available/not available for player
God should have his own base to have something to do which can be protected. It could be a god from Warcraft's lore. Look at the existing godland map where god has a base with special units.
Think of a concept on how to give players stuff and influence the game
Maybe workers and floating texts only visible for god or chat commands. Workers seem to be the easiest way but sometimes you have to select an option or number as well.
