klv-decoder's Issues

Streaming from file issue

Hi,
I'm trying to stream the demo file you linked to (with metadata) using:

ffmpeg -re -i ../Day\ Flight.mpg -map: 0:0 -map 0:1 -f mpegts -codec:v mpeg1video -b:v 800k -r 24 -s 800:600 -streamid 1:42 http://127.0.0.1:8081/secretkey

When I run the web app, I can see the video, but the klv metadata is not making it through so I don't see the drone. Am I missing something in my call above to get the metadata to stream and see the drone position on the map? You state it's to be used with a live video stream, but in my case I'm trying to stream a local file so I've modified it by placing the video filename.

Wondering if this still works

Hi,

Thanks a lot for sharing your repository.

I'm wondering if you believe this should still work. I tried running your code with the example video, but also with my own video, but it does not seem to get the KLV data from the stream. I tried adding some console logs to DATA.prototype.getKLVValue but (after rebuilding) the messages do not show in the log. So I'm wondering if I forgot something in my setup. I'm not quite sure how I can check the output stream to check if the KLV data is still present there or not.

I'm running ffmpeg from MacOS and I tried to use different browsers. Video is playing and map (showing video overlay) is showing.

Thanks,
Eelco
