To run this application locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/chat-application.git

2. Navigate to the server directory:

cd chat-application/server

3. Install dependencies

npm install

4. Start the client:

npm start

Now the backend server is started. Simultaneously run the client too (use this repo and its instructions - client)
