Steps to build it...

  • Designed an interactive web page utilizing AJAX technology for users to search events and purchase tickets
  • Created Java servlets with RESTful APIs to deal with HTTP requests and responses
  • Built relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB) to retrieve event data from TicketMaster API
  • Designed content-based recommendation which offers users event recommendation service in their area
  • Deployed back-end server to Amazon EC2 to deal with 150 QPS tested by Apache JMeter
