Does it support other markdown language?

I use other markdown based files, such as rmarkdown (*.Rmd), quarto (*.qmd).

Is it possible to integrate this plugin into other markdown based languages?

I have tried to add filetype option, with no success, Thanks.

Description

First of all, thanks for this nice plugin. Been using this for a while and pretty much has what I need.
However, I have a few questions and suggestion as well for the plugin. And I feel asking those in an Issues section doesn't fit the purpose. WDYT ?
