Carrefour Next Gen RetAIL Challenge - organised by Ecole Polytechnique and Carrefour DataLab

Context

This Hackathon has been organised by the French Retailer Carrefour and Ecole Polytechnique, which is an institution from IP-Paris/ Contestants were students from different schools, following a data-oriented program. Details about IP-Paris available here

Selected Subject : Marketing Mix Modelling

Duration : 5 weeks of competition from 3rd February to 7th March 2020 12th March 2020 8th April

Participation : 131 students spread across 26 Teams, with 4 to 6 members in each team.

Data : 30 Datasets with 20 KPI.

Infrastructure : Access to GCP's Virtual Machines.

update 2 - 05.03.2020 : VapnikLovers selected for the final round of the Hackathon

update 3 - 05.03.2020 : Closing day postponed from Saturday 7th March to Thursday 12th March 2020.

update 4 - 17.03.2020 : VapnikLovers received the best score for the ~~final~~ second round. Announcement of a final business pitch challenge in front of Carrefour's Executive boards for the 6 best teams.
