Given that we are applying the advice functions and main function within our dispatch function, we use a single &rest argument. However it would be nice if we could preserve the lambda list passed to defun and construct a single list within the generated dispatch function to use in our calls to apply.

This would be somewhat similar to the &whole argument, but we need to construct it from our passed in arguments - we dont want to evaluate the argument list twice, and we dont want to generate a macro.
