Cool idea!

I don't have a good way to edit a docx otherwise I'd just open a PR. ☹️

The addresses in the code listing should be:

instead of:

Not part of the issue of course but did you consider keeping the reset vector and branching at FCE2 instead? Something like:
FCE2  4C B7 E4  JMP $E4B7

E4B7  A2 FF     LDX #$FF
E4B9  78        SEI
E4BA  8E 04 80  STX $8004
E4BD  4C E5 FC  JMP $FCE5

It uses an extra byte but allows SYS 64738 and other code that uses FCE2 to be handled as well.
