Hello,
I really like this app except for the fact that when I restart FireFox, the app tabs are lost and I have to recreate them. When will this be fixed?

I think it's wrong, as doubleclick usually means double left click, not a double any_button click.

What about implementing a configurable set of apptabs which lets you open external links into the page into new tabs? Considering the use case "app tab with facebook" external links should be always open externally because you do want to preserve the app tab content.
This applies in almost every app tabs.

ii love the add-on, but now i am tired of closing a tab in 2 steps. any better suggestion?
e.g.
i am currently

1. unpin the tab
2. right click to close

I have many tabs, so the "little cross" symbol to click to close, is not visible unless i unpin

any suggestion to pin like 5 open tabs with 1 click?

i installed some other tabs add-ons but then they started to slow down fx alot. so i uninstalled those and reverted back to use yours. thankyou.

i am on 37.0.2 fx/yosemite latest 10.10.2.

Just updated from FF 32.0.1 to 32.0.3 and now Easy App Tabs 7 no longer works in Private Browsing mode.

Won't work. uninstalled.....installed.....started......restarted......you name it......I opened youtube....doubleclicked tabbed.....opened another tab.....double clicked Youtube....nothing happened.....closed it.....still nothing...tried several times...nothing.

I have Tree Style Tab installed, and this. (FF 7.0.1 on Windows XP.) When I click on an inactive tab, and then immediately click on the X to close that tab, it's detecting it as a double click, and instead of closing the tab, makes it into an app tab.

Just a minor annoyance, but just thought I'd point it out.

I tend to accidentally double-click a tab when I don't mean to change its status to an app tab.

A feature from an old Firefox extension was Ctrl key+Left click to change the tab's status to an app tab, and I think it would be a great addition to Easy App Tabs as an option instead of double-click.

A nice and simple feature for the next version would be a shortcut to pin/unpin tabs.
What do you think?

(looks like you've just to implement another eventListener which subscribes to the key-shortcut, right?)

It's really tricky to describe... Ok, let's say i want to search firefox logo via google images. I found a lot of interesting results and opened them in different tabs. Now i found one pic that i really like and want to close tabs i dont need anymore. I'm not changing active tab and just pressing crosses to close desired inactive tabs. I care for my time and automatically doing it fast. But after 2 tabs closed, third tab not only closes itself, but it makes my active tab close too!

This happens no matter what pages i use, how many are open, memory usage, etc. It just happens no matter what. There are only 2 conditions i need to meet: - Close tabs that are inactive - Do it fast

I'd really appreciate some help with my problem because the tab that usually accidentally crash is the tab with a lot of edited text. You can imagine how disappointing it may be.

When i pin a tab with a double click, the right separator goes missing. I can reproduce this reliable by double clicking an unpinned tab to pin it, and then select another tab without hovering or clicking the newly pinned tab. Once i hover the tab, the separator is there.

This does not happen when using the right click menu version Firefox has as stock way to pin tabs. I guess you only need to redraw the tab bar, though i have no idea how to do that.

Note the pinned google tab next to the amazon tab.

Is there a chance of this add-on being made as a web extension?

I tried finding something similar for Chrome a while back and I kept reading that Chrome doesn't allow for add-ons to read clicks on tabs. I really hope Firefox doesn't go a similar route, or at least makes this an integrated feature.
