Would like to see a possibility for the NES core to swap A/B buttons at least, or assign them. I have couple of NES -controller -> USB adapters, and by default with these, the A and B buttons are swapped from the original.

Thanks for ur code, I take it to make a nes emulator. I also use Nexys4 board from DIGILENT. But when I run ur code on my board, the uart always have checksum error problem. I'm sure I use the correct baudrate and the correct c program from your sourcecode. And I don't know how to debug this large project, could u help me to make some advice on debug this problem?

have you simuluated it in modelsim or other simulator?
I have tried it by modelsim and failed ,because many signals are unkown (x state) during simuation cause cpu stop at some instruction.
and I do some modification by initialize signals in initial statement or during reset , but I can‘t fix it all because i am a newbie.

and also port it to cyclone4 device, after downloading, vga only show boarder, other area is black.

can you give me some suggestion on porting and simulation?
