write the code for the major selection component

probably just a dropdown with all majors, or a search box? idk

Set up google firebase user authentication flow.

Additionally, set up the react context code required to share this information between components.

add a backend (maybe with google firestore) that stores user specific data, like which classes the users have taken

a long list of check boxes proably, maybe make the design a bit more compact, add a search bar

implement a class search with all of the regular filters that you can normally search by on webreg

design each of the auth components:

• log in
• sign up
• forgot password
• create new password ? this might not be required I think firebase auth handles this

Add a react context for all of the current user's data, including classes selected and major selected?

add major data, just a list of all majors offered at UCSD, maybe rather all departments available

Add all of the necessary JSON files that includes data on each of the classes.

this one will be time consuming and tedious
