I'd love to see my country India in one of those badges, if you plan to add it, I'm more than happy to send PR for the same! 😃

I would certainly like to support more flag options in the ribbon styles. I added the countries that I could think of off the top of my head that had flags which were vertical or horizontal lines with colors. If you can think of more and implement them as something reasonable in CSS, then go for it.

Currently we do npm install and then need to also install gulp as global command using npm install -g gulp to be able to run gulp sass and build CSS files. However, it would be nice we add it as one of the npm script target (in package.json) such that we can simply run npm run build, (as npm scripts have access to all the module commands in PATH).

I'll submit another PR for the same. This will reduce an extra installation step and speed up the workflow. 😃

Add a gulp file so that people without WebStorm can easily transpile the SCSS file.

I have started the project with the basic "gold", "silver", and "bronze" options which are what I think about regarding badges and medals. Are there any more colors which would be useful to add? If so, I currently have to make adjustments per size per color because I configure the border for each size. There is probably a better way to do it. If that can get cleaned up, we can add more colors easily.

The current supported shapes are circle, square, and diamond. Based on some examples of CSS shapes I have seen, we could add some more. For example, the 8 and 12 pointed shapes would be nice to have.

There are places in the code where SCSS capabilities could be used to remove duplication.

Looks like .gitignore doesn't have node_modules folder included, leading to all the modules shown in diff after running npm install.
