Not getting response from API container
Hello team,
I am using the Angular 6 application to do the same. But when I send a request to API container it does not return anything from the NGINX server. Simply it returns 504 Timeout. How can I solve this one?
Submit button buffer the response
Hi Stephen,
I used your code and dockerized the application, but when I click on submit, response is not generated. Itgoes in pending state when checked in Networks tab.
When I refresh the page manually, then I can see the response.
Tried multiple settings for Nginx, like disabling buffer, increasing response time, but no luck.
I get error:
[warn] message in error log: an upstream response is buffered to a temporary file while reading upstream.
When I resolve this, then I get this error.
NGINX: upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream
Note: I am not using ElasticBean stalk, I have manually setup docker and docker compose on EC2.
Submit button does not display results immediately
Hello Stepehen,
My name is Alejandro and I bought your Udemy course Docker and Kubernetes. The content in your course is excellent and I have followed every chapter on it but recently I found out in this repo that every time I hit on the submit button from the React app the results do not display, however, I had to refresh the page or click on the Other page link and then go back to the main page to see the results.
I am not an React expert so I do not know if this is an expected behaviour but I wanted to mentioned it so you can make the clarification in your Udemy course, so other students can be aware of this details.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Alejandro

script:
- docker run -e CI=true abdessamadrajd/react-test npm test -- --coverage
