Just set Update option: "RA + Cores" and click "Download". After download completes, extracting stage fails with Stellar crash.

Stellar version: 1.0.0.0-beta
OS: Windows 8.1 x64 Enterprise.

Just did a new install into a folder called RetroArch.

Cores folder ends up as RetroArch/cores/
Everything else ends up in RetroArch/RetroArch-Win64/

Cores folder must then be moved to RetroArch/RetroArch-Win64/cores/

Install directory must then be updated for updates to work.

I'm trying to change the download URL to https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/windows-msvc2010/x86_64/ but the text box appears to be locked? It won't let me modify the text.

I got it up and running after a few issues, now it downloads the first core on the list, the progression bar goes all the way to the right, then it crashes. No log is written even if the option is checked.

I absolutely love Stellar. I've been using it for a while now and only encountered my first issues.

Last week, when I used it, my retroarch wouldn't open afterwards. It gave a bunch of DLL errors.

To resolve the issues, I just created a temp new retroarch install, copied the DLLs from there to my real retroarch install, and that fixed everything.

I'm in Windows 10 64bit latest updates.

When updating using Stellar, it downloads very slowly. I checked the Network Usage and it's around 1-2Mbps which is nowhere near the speeds I usually get.

So, When I tired Stellar it requires admin for UAC. Can you Update it so it doesn't require UAC?

Now, it just throws an ".exe Stopped working" error. I'm running on Win10 x64.
I'm trying to update my RA x64 with buildbot, nightly builds (tried retroarch, RA+cores, just plain cores and New cores. Nothing seems to work and the program collapses when it's extracting the zip).

Hello. I've installed 7zip, but Stellar automatically uses WinRAR instead of 7zip to extract files, giving me errors. How can I fix this?

I'd like to set this up to run daily using Task Scheduler, but the program doesn't currently offer a CLI. Any chance you'd be willing to add one?

Since most people using RA are probably not developers themselves, the debug exe is not useful to them and they'd either leave it alone or delete it after extraction (as I do). You could perhaps implement an option to either skip extracting it or something more fine-grained that allows the user to decide which exes to extract. This would be similar, I guess, to the dialogue that allows updating only specific cores.

Hello and great work on this program. Is there any way to get this program working for stable releases? I love the idea of it making nightly versions a breeze to update but I would prefer an option to switch it to stable versions. Is there any way that you could make this possible? Thank you

Can we please get an option to create backups of core(s) being updated. It can prove useful in case updated version of core has issues.

This isn't really an issue. I just wanted to know.

For whatever reason your Installer only allows for folder selection. It doesn't allow pasting of Path Link/URL.
For example RetroArch default installs to AppData. Since it is a hidden folder your installer doesn't see it nor does it allow to paste the direct file path. I was forced to move my RetroArch installation.

It would pretty much be the most used system for this type of emulation, so i think its worth helping this system with all the nightly builds.

Everytime I'm trying to update retroarch I get the following message:

"Error: Buildbot Index-Extended file may be offline"

I seem to be able to do the cores seperatley, but not with RA+Cores, or Just RA

I have both a GPD Win 2, GPD Win Max, and ONEXPLAYER handhelds and when I try to run the application an icon shows on the taskbar but it doesn't display the main user interface. A copy of the same program runs fine on my desktop and notebook computers.

The only think I can think that is common between the handhelds is they use intel integrated graphics . Perhaps the method of rendering may have issues with the intel graphics.
