make status bar overlap leftMenu about saslidemenu HOT 6 CLOSED

What I want is that the blue bar is base-aligned with the navigation header of the content view.
As you can see in the picture, the navigation header on the right is overlapped by the status bar (this is what I want) but the table view header (the blue one) is not. Can I make the status bar overlap the blue area?

In the SASlideMenuRootViewController the menuView is the view that contains the menu. If in the storyboard the menuView starts from the top of the main view than the menu will overlap with the status bar.

If I understood you correctly, then my menuView starts at the top.

Oh Im sorry, I found the error on my side.
My Slide Menu Root View Controller had 20px margin to the top.
Copy-paste mistake from the sample app 👎
