I am not sure if this is an issue with this node or somewhere else, the node depends on mpi-s7 which itself depends on "usb": "github:gfcittolin/node-usb" which means that it is necessary to have git installed in order to install this node, which can be an issue on some systems. I wonder whether this is an oversight as I see the published version of usb is the same as the one in that repository.

unable to detect MPI USB adapter, Kindly help to reolve this issue, also there is installation issue in pallete

i am installing the nod-red-conrib-mpi-s7 but it does not install while generate the below error log

Kindly help me to resolve the problem..

Describe the bug

When using the mpi-s7 node, sometimes when i've make a deploy of the node, the error informing that the adapter cannot be opened when there is another request in progress is shown.

To Reproduce

I've cannot discover what exact is the trigger to make this error happen, but if we deploy the node a few times, the error will be guaranteed to happen.

Expected behavior

The adapter should be opened and the connection should be made.

• Node-RED version: 0.20.8
• OS: ST-One

Additional context

This node-red is running inside the ST-One equipment.

Describe the bug

when installing the node in terminal, it will try to pull a package from github/tessel/node-usb/releases/download/v1.6.3
v1.6.3 doesn't exist anymore so the installation doesn't work.

I am on raspberry pi os
