Network i

Hello,

I'm trying to use debian-9.1-amd64-CD-1.iso. But I can't install it because the installer was not able to find any network adapters ?

Do you have any idea?

Push button support

Is it possible to use the push button on the front to run a script with this Debian?

Build error - Jessie Build Apu64 for PCEngines APU1D

Hi everyone,

I was building the Jessie image for the PCEngines APU1D (mSata SSD 16GB) when some errors occurred :

I did it on a Debian 8 Build-machine, have you any ideas on how I can solve it ?

fstrim / and /boot return "the discard operation is not supported" whereas "fstrim -a -v" doesn't return anything

Hi!

Not really an issue, probably something to do with my SSD, but I purchased it from pcengines, so I thinks it's kind of weird.
The return from hwinfo --disk is:

As well, the size isn't correct; as far as I remember, I purchased:
msata16d SSD M-Sata 16GB MLC Phison

Any clue why this behaviour / wrong detection ?

Hello there,

I've just installed bullseye on the APU and it's working well ! Just some error at the startup that slow the boot of the device:

Do you know something about that?

Small lvm root partition

I'd like to have a small lvm root partition. It would be easier to create additional data partitions.

Minor correction to README

There is a cmd missing in the README:

update with debian stable (bookworm)

Hey there,

thanks for this project. The debian installer from the Debian Stretch Release worked mostly fine.

But then upgrading debian and changing the apt mirror to deb http://archive.debian.org/debian/ stretch contrib main non-free took some time and was not the most convenient way to do. Maybe you could create a new release with the current debian version and preconfigured tty output? That would be awesome!

Crash on Software selection

Hi,

I try install Strech binnary on APU over CDROM, but it's crashed in step of Software selection.
Can you confirm thet this ISO is working well?

Regards Jaroslav

Mirror needs to be signed

Nice project, thanks.
Do you know how to overcome this error?

200% useless, don't waste your time

first boot went more or less as expected, then the installer spontaneously repartitionned the USB flashdrive it was on instead of using the installed SD card.

Go back to M$ windows people, or don't publish stuff until it actually works

Read Error beim Booten nach der Installation

Hallo,

  • Stromkabel abgezogen,
  • USB-Stick entfernt
  • wieder mit Strom versorgt
  • das Boot-Menu erscheint
  • "Booting from Hard Disk..." wird angezeigt
  • Kurz darauf die Meldung"Read Error".

Wie komme ich dem Problem auf die Spur?

network by default bridged ?

Hello,

I'm using apu1d4 , I'm able to see 3 eth (eth0/1/2) but It seems that all of them are bridged.

No bctcl configured, any ideas ?

Is fstrim scheduled too frequently?

Hey, first off, thanks for publishing this. It really helps to have the trail blazed a bit. I just have a question/potential issue I was curious to hear some background on.

I noticed in profiles/apu64.postinst there's an hourly cronjob which runs fstrim on a daily basis.

  1. Why the extra logic for making an hourly cronjob daily? Why not just schedule it as a daily job?
  2. Is there a reason for it being set to daily? The fstrim man pages appear to think weekly is sufficient.

Can't complete the process

I have tried to build the installation CD image many times, but every time I'm not able to complete the process.

Thanks for you help

Hi,

Thanks for this tool - it looks exactly like what I need for reproducible APU images.
However, I don't manage to build successfully:
