What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Check out mpfc using Mercurial.
2. Run autogen.sh

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected autogen.sh to run successfully. However, there were errors, including 
some that said files and directories were missing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest version from repo on Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit.
