I ran into an issue doing some QA testing of our site while using the Brave browser. If I run a localhost dev network and app, I can't sign-in. I'm getting the following error:
http://localhost:8080
We've rejected this request because this site is requesting that you use a different domain (https://localhost:8080)
Note that The brave browser thinks the site is requesting that I use https, when the site is using http. If I change the domain
property of the SIWE object to the fully qualified origin, the Brave wallet will sign the message but the backend will not verify the message.
To debug I tried using some of the apps in this repo, but they don't seem to work with Brave either.
To reproduce start up the quickstart 03_complete_app
, and try to sign-in with Brave.
fwiw: everything works as expected on a public https domain.
React-native doesn't provide Buffer
, thus converting from a prepared message -> SiweMessage results in a "Buffer is undefined" error
Here's a minimum reproducible snack
Everything else works great on RN 👍
https://docs.login.xyz/sign-in-with-ethereum/quickstart-guide/implement-sessions
When generating nonce, you set it in session, but for me, when the request is done, response is sent.
In /verify
route request.session.nonce
, nonce is undefined.
Hey all, I am trying to create a SIWE message in Flutter, does anyone know a reasonable way of doing this using SIWE? I have a SIWE backend setup to verify messages and generate nonces, but need a way to sign the messages in dart. Any advice on how to do this?
Hi, I try to auth via your solution but after passing the message created front side by SiweMessage().prepareMessage() to the back via axios post req, when I do: new SiweMessage(message) I got this error: {"error":"parser.js: initializeCallbacks(): syntax callback 'shuffle' not a rule or udt name"}
It is curious cause the message received backside is the same as in the front
My code:
const STATMENT='daism member Signature ->'
Signature is normal but when post data to verify then report errors.
Everything is normal after remove '->'
