TheHarbor

TheHarbor is a web application for managing and tracking ship cargo. The application is built using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and uses phpMyAdmin as the database backend.

Introduction

TheHarbor allows users to create, edit, and delete cargo records, and track the status and location of each shipment in real time. The application uses the following technologies:

  • PHP: server-side scripting language used to create dynamic web pages
  • HTML: markup language used to create the structure and content of web pages
  • CSS: styling language used to define the layout and appearance of web pages
  • JavaScript: programming language used to add interactivity and dynamic behavior to web pages
  • phpMyAdmin: web-based application used to manage MySQL and MariaDB databases

Installation

To run TheHarbor, you need to have a web server and a database server installed on your machine. You also need to have PHP, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin installed. Here's how you can set up TheHarbor:

  1. Clone the repository to your machine.
  2. Import the database.sql file in phpMyAdmin to create the required tables and data.
  3. Edit the config.php file in the root directory and enter your database credentials.
  4. Start your web server and navigate to the project directory in your web browser.

Usage

Once you have set up TheHarbor, you can use the following features:

  • Create, edit, and delete cargo records: you can add new cargo records, update existing records, or delete records that are no longer needed.
  • Track shipment status and location: you can view the status and location of each shipment in real time.
