Team Black Miner (TBM) was created by a group of nordic black ops in the cryptocurrency scene.

TBM maintains a leading position in mining algos like Ethereum POW, Ethereum Classic, Verthash, Kawpow, Firo,Meowpow,Evrpow,Hypra and Zilliqa.

Hashing algos supported: ethash, etchash, ethashb3, kawpow, firopow, verthash

The developer fee for all algos is only 0.5%

Features

Commission is charged continuously, and not in intervals (as in most miners), which has a positive effect on the user's profitability on PPLNS pools.
Verifying Shares on processor, warning when GPU overclocking is very high for Ethash, Etcash, helps to overclock GPU without errors.
DAG caching if the GPU has enough memory, DAG files are not recomputed when switching to another algorithm when mining Ethash + Zilliqa or Nicehash.
If a Low memory GPU doesn't have enough memory it can copy the dag buffer from a another gpu in the rig.
Temperature control and stop the GPU in case of overheating.
Mechanism to restore lost connection with pool.
Informative and readable tabular statistics output to console.
Display of detailed information on each device (temperature, power consumption, cooler load, memory frequency, processor frequency, energy efficiency).
Parallel output of information to console and to file on disk.

[BUG] Cannot allocate memory!: Not enough space

The miner v1.0 crashes regularly on a 6xGTX1070 / Windows 10 / CUDA 11.3 (Nvidia v466.74) mining rig while mining Ethash to Nicehash. DRAM is 8GB, pagefile/virtual memory is set to 120GB (120000). Sometimes it crashes without the cuda runtime error, but always with twice Critical error. Cannot allocate memory!: Not enough space

No stats for AMD

Hello, using 5700xt here and I get empty stats. Using 21.7.2 drivers.

No issues with teamredminer and phoenixminer. Thank you

set --xintensity for each card in a comma seperated list

In v1.1 the --xintensity is for all the cards in the rig. But we need to be able to set intensity for each of the cards in the rig

Create HiveOS Package / Manifest

Would be great if you could package up the miner in a package that HiveOS can parse and use.

Submit delta time is incorrect when share solution time is very low

rtx 2060 super list as 2060 in the stats

Device selection doesn't work

The parameter --cuda-devices doesn't work. TBMiner uses all avail devices, always.

Using my testrig (1xGTX1070, 1xRTX3070, 1xINTEL), there is no way to select the GTX1070 (--cuda-devices 0) or the RTX3070 (--cuda-devices 1), only. TBMiner always starts mining to both of the GPUs.

No Stats for amd 6600xt

Upgraded to v1.06 and it still don't show any stats. For only two of my GPUs, it detected that they are 6600xt. For stats(clk, tdp) their is still "0" everywhere.

Error while loading shared libraries: libcudart

Hi Support,

We talked on the Reddit, but to keep this issue tracked I'm creating the ticket here:
./TBMiner: error while loading shared libraries: libcudart.so.11.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Installed the latest driver on the Ubuntu
Cuda Kit - Is NOT installed

Just let me know is a condition for making the miner working Cuda Kit installed, or should your miner work without any additional installation except the standard driver.

[REQ] Older linux glibc compatibility

Is it possible to compile against older glibc? Currently 2.33 is minimum required and ubuntu 18.04 is not supported, also most libraries can be statically linked too.

[BUG] New API not working in v1.10

Two things, I have noticed:

if we call any API endpoint with curl (this example is http://127.0.0.1:36500/threads, parameters --api --api-port 36500), we get:

1	UNSUPPORTED_PROTOCOL	The URL you passed to libcurl used a protocol that this “curl.exe” does not support. it can be a misspelled protocol string or just a protocol that curl has no code for.

calling the API seems to slow down the miner heavily. Since we ping the miner every 10 seconds, the start + creation of DAG takes a couple of minutes.

[BUG] gpu informations display shift

Hello,
On this rig I have 4 GPU (1080ti, 1080ti, 3080, rx480 8GB)
The array of informations does have a row shift (TEMP for GPU0 is displayed in GPU1, TEMP for GPU1 is displayed in GPU2...)

i'm using TeamBlackMiner_1_04_Ubuntu_18_04_Cuda_11_4 in hiveOS.

No reported Hashrate on ethermine graph

Hello,

I have try one night Team Black Miner,

My 3080 gaming X trio has passed 98 to 102 mh/s this is great.

But on ethermine graph i have no reported Hash Rate but i can see valid shares.

It's normal on ethermine we don't see reported hash rate ?

CPU Usage

Hey, great miner, good job on this!

But one thing i stumbled upon is; CPU Usage. Its quite "high" compared to T-Rex, Gminer, and so on. It would be good to keep an eye on to reduce it.

Miner disconnects after ~30 minutes

There are no stale shares reported, but the miner continues to disconnect and reduce overall reported hashrate at the pool.

After several minutes the issue resolved itself and the miner was able to reconnect on launch

Hard time generating DAG

First, i need to say that your work looks rlly promising, i did break the 200Mhs with 6x6600xt. I had to reduce my memory clock compared to Teamredminer but i'm still getting better performance.

However, dag generation is a bit erratic. I had to put a -100mhz offset on memory over what i used whith team red miner to generate DAGs. When the dag are generated i can go +50Mhz easily.
The dag generation seems too stressfull for memory and idk if you could make it go slower but less intensive so i can keep my memory configuration when starting the miner.

Also stats totally dont work, 0 everywhere. Using windows 10 21H1, Adrenalin 21.8.2. I can do some more testing if u want me too. (teamblackminer v1.04)

[BUG] Mining on single RTX3070 stats show 0 shares, pools show shares

Hi,

there seems to be a bug with the stats. I have one of the mixed GPU rig (6xGTX1070, 1xRTX3070) mining on that single RTX3070 with v1.02 release, but it doesn't report any shares. No accepted, no rejected, no stale. But looking at Ethermine pool stats, the miner in fact does find shares. Maybe one note: there are running two instances of TBminer.exe, currently. One mines on the six GTX1070, the other runs on the RTX3070. The one mining the GTX1070 does show correct stats.

[BUG] Mining to MiningRigRentals with no hashrate

Looks like there is a problem with MiningRigRentals. Miner starts, logs into pool, but then - nothing. Gminer and Trex both run fine on that rental. So it's not a renter's problem.

[Q] Question regarding new cmd-line parameters

Added --amd-only option. Only use amd cl-devices

If I add this parameter, does this mean, that the device count for --cl-devices is counting over the AMD devices, only?

(-E) To feed the pool(s) what they need.

What does this mean, exactly? What are possible values for -E ?

Miner doesn't start if amd opencl libraries are present but no AMD device is.

Hello, there is a problem when you have both cuda and amdgpu opencl drivers but only nvidia is present.

It won't find any CL devices since only nvidia is present. Removing /etc/OpenCL/vendors/amdocl64.icd fixed the issue. Please address that as soon as possible. Thank you.
P.S. It would be a good idea to add --nvidia-only option too, to not check opencl at all, like you have --amd-only.

[Request] miner flags request

Since there is an —amd-only option, there should also be an —nvidia-only option.
Also, there should be a —gpu option to select GPUs

Is there a flag that I’m missing where you can set the miner to not use the iGPU? This is relevant on APU systems
