This was a really great submission! I love that you took a seemingly very simple feature and looked at it through a lot of different lenses to consider many aspects of it. Your background section is short but sweet, I agree that adding this feature would greatly increase the user experience and make the app more intuitive! Your technical design is the absolute highlight of this paper; I've never seen such a detailed technical description of this feature. I love that you included a code snippet; it all looks correct! My favorite part of the design was that you considered the slight chance that the user would send too many calls to the API. You brainstormed three great solutions to the problem and picked a good one! It's really smart to think about all of these potential downfalls to your suggested feature and come up with a solution before anyone else even brings up the issue. I think your idea of temporarily disabling the search button would work great! Your caveat section is good, especially the second part of it. I love that you're thinking about how your feature would fit in with any potential future updates! Overall, this was a really great paper, I can tell you put a lot of time and thought into this. I'd encourage you to try and implement this, if you haven't already! Great job.
