I was wondering if Sony would release the design files for this project.

I wanted to take a stab at adding support for more modern USB-C connectors and reduce the BOM cost a bit.

Now that the DitherPWM finally works it might be time to investigate how to drive the high-side FET in boost mode. Currently it is forced off as the initial measurements indicated that a programmable lead time is required depending on load. Unfortunately the board can't measure the actual voltage drop over the FET to figure out when to enable it and when to disable it again during the PWM cycle, so it has to be categorized externally in order to create a model of the behavior.

Due to the complete re-write of the PWM subsystem there are still some functionality missing, current limiting is one of them

Fast transient response time is desired, but oscillation has to be avoided (this is tricky in light-load conditions)
