The internal LUA assert function uses metatables in order to evaluate.

Issues an error when the value of its argument v is false (i.e., nil or false); 
otherwise, returns all its arguments. message is an error message; when absent, 
it defaults to "assertion failed!"

But it doesn't work out the box with == because == uses metatables.

The current code base doesn't have support for metatables, need to implement the metatable section and then implement the default metatables for lua so that assert will work in the following cases. Currently == is disabled in Deimos because I couldn't properly implement it without metatables.

Use a logging crate to output errors and syntax issues to the logs, so different levels of debug can be applied to get different errors / messages.
