The Hold button seems to be having no effect (in a telnet session at least).
Also, the pc-keyboard button is not working.

Consider reverting to a history pop-up window.
Things like clear-screens, cursor addressing, CR, etc. will always muck things up.

For use without an IOC/IAC, it would be helpful to have an option to simulate the default 8 column tab handling.

DasherG had this turned on unconditionally, maybe that's okay as when the system (eg. IAC) preprocesses the TAB characters, the TAB never appears on the output (just the correct number of spaces). So it seems that nothing is lost by taking this approach.

IIRC the DASHER terminals had a slow auto-repeat built-in, and fast auto-repeat implemented with a special "Rept" key,
Dashera should offer at least one of those options.

To reproduce, start Dashera without connecting (i.e local mode), type dsk<NL>sdf<NL> - cursor blocks remain on screen.
They only disappear when the display scrolls.

The two external resources (BDF font and icon) should be fully embedded in the code to simplify packaging and deployment.

Program seems to build with and without optimizations but executing "./dashera" results in a "segmentation fault." Running Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS on 32-bit ARM. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Although the Edit|Paste command appears to work visually, the pasted characters are not in fact being sent to the remote host.
