docker-vagrant-ubuntu

This project contains two monolithic Docker images that run /sbin/init and sshd.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is built to the Docker index as smerrill/vagrant-ubuntu and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is built to the Docker index as smerrill/vagrant-ubuntu-trusty.

SSH doesn't start anymore with latest Vagrant/Docker stable versions

I wasn't able to figure out why, and I don't know much about Docker, but with Vagrant 1.9.2 and Docker 17.04, the SSH service doesn't start on container startup anymore. I have to attach a shell to the container and start it manually, before being able to ssh into the box (and/or run provisioning etc.).

I tried adding update-rc.d ssh defaults in the bootstrap script, but it didn'd help. I guess they might have changed something in how Docker starts containers?
