1. The default behavior of using package.el and and install if the package is not "installed" causes trouble in my situation. I use el-get instead of package.el to manage package installation.

I think it's better to separate installation and configuration.

Please can you update init.el to work with latest nrepl.el now cider. Also there's something in init.el that makes make-frame behave strangely and doesn't maintain the size settings of the frame from which I call it.

I'm more than happy using the little arrow keys on the lower right of my laptop keyboard for navigation and together with ctrl keys for jumping between windows. I have never liked vim style editing. I have tried it but it doesn't give me the freedom I need.

Also I need some help with adjusting the font as it looks very small on my hiDpi laptop.

To be honest a lot of things have changed since I last cloned your repo that I am not too comfortable with.
