Dependencies

  • nodeJS v16.13.0
  • npm v8.1.0
  • Angular CLI v14.2.12

Steps to setup

  1. Ensure that all the dependencies mentioned aboved are installed. Check using node -v or npm -v commands to check version installed.
  2. To download all npm dependencies for this project, use your preferred terminal run npm i in the root folder npm-finder-ui
  3. When npm dependecies are installed successfully, to run this project on local, use the ng serve command to run on your local machine. Application will run on port 4200. You can use --port <port number> flag to run the application on different port.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The application will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Run ng g c component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Test

  1. Navigate to the root of this project.
  2. run ng test to run all the unit tests in this project.
