wrong mime while uploading images about simpletest HOT 1 OPEN

Thank you for reporting and your kind words. I'm slowly updating SimpleTest to support newer PHP language features and versions. Mainly by applying lots and lots of small refactoring steps,
cleaning things here and there and fixing things along the way.

Seems it's a SimpleTest issue. The function deduceMimeType() in class SimpleAttachment returns application/octet-stream if the content is not Ascii. We need to improve this behavior and support more mime types, either by using mime_content_type(), like you suggested - or by using finfo_open() + finfo_file().

Hmm, when looking at the WebTester and getMimeType() the value comes from a header.

Before providing test case for the issue I would rather ask first. Maybe you will just know the answer.

If you have a test-case handy, please attach it.
That saves a lot of time and helps me in tracking the issue down.
