Hey jeteon!

Whilst it may be true that 1.1.0 is still the only version in maintenance mode, that date is really old now.

Yes, the website is outdated. Unfortunately, i don't have access to the server to update it. It's hosted and maintained by lastcraft. Maybe he finds the time to update it.

I suggest to improve the website hosting by moving it to Github (ghpages).
I'm for a subtree split into a "simpletest/simpletest.org" repo with CNAME file.
This would allow easy updating by simply pushing to the website repository and also automatic builds and pushes of other important resources: docs, apidocs.

For reference:

If you'd like some help with the site I'd be happy to help out or put in some PRs if you make it a public repo.

Sure! I'd love to see some new PRs and new contributors on board. Feel free to contribute.
The source for the website lives in this repository:
https://github.com/simpletest/simpletest/tree/master/docs/simpletest.org

Best, Jens

I've just added a link to our GitHub account page on the official website ;-) If you feel it's good enough, you can close this issue.

And for the record, the domain is owned and dealt with by Marcus Baker (@lastcraft) while the website is hosted by Jason Sweat. And I have an account to log in the hosting server only.

I'd love to move it. I believe the website was hosted by Jeff Morre, but
Perrick was going to move it. I have the domain at dotster. If you tell
me when you are ready, I can point it anywhere you want.

Thank you for adding the link, Perrick!

Ok. I'll ping you, when the GithubPages are ready.

Wow...don't usually get a response like this for an auxiliary issue. Seems like you guys have things in hand for now. I'll do what I can once the simpletest/simpletest.org repo is up.

@perrick, where did you add the link to the Github repo? Did you push the change already?

I dit it live first. And of course it took days to make the commit.

And now we're back in synch.

I think my browser had cached the old version so I didn't see the changes right away. I see them now though. I suppose we can close this issue.

Please do say here when the Github Pages move is done though. Alternatively, I guess one could put PRs in against the main repo?

Personally, I'm not a big fan of moving everything to GitHub. PRs in the main repo could be enough: updating the website is easy afterwards, for me anyway. Yours
