arduino-simplefocshield's Issues

confuse about pin mux

hi guys.
i have question about "Customizing pinout",
In the docs.
image
pwmA mapping to pin 9/10
pwmB mapping to pin 3/5

But , according the note below
Now, there is a lot of possible pin configurations and not all of them are possible depending on the microcontroller and sensor you are using. For example, Arduino UNO only has 2 external interrupt pins, and they are pin 2 and 3. Therefore when using the board with Arduino UNO and Encoder we will try to use pin 3 for encoder channel A and not for pwm A.
it seems mean that PwmA should mapping to pin3 instand 9/10.
version2.03 board ,also design that pinA mapping to pin 3/5.

is that means this pinmux(in docs) is out of date?

I am confused.

which one is right?

JLC PCB fabrication instructions no longer work

I followed the steps described here with version 2.0.4:

but after specifying the bom and pick&place file, I get the following error:

File processing failed, please check your file and upload again.

I also tried with 2.0 is there an update to the procedure to remain compatible with JLC PCB?

Header pins too tall?

On the left, a nucleao-64 with its 8mm pins. On the right, my brand new SimpleFOCShield with its 18.5mm pins, which cannot penetrate fully into the 9mm Arduino header.

Is it unintended or am I missing something?

I2C pullups using ESP32-S2 Metro

Hi, thank you a lot for the project, the documentation and effort! using the ESP32-S2 Metro there are already I2C pullups included so i didn't connect the jumper on the SimpleFOC V2.0.4. Using that setup with an AS5048b i did run into issues getting I2C communication to work. Whitout the shield it did work as expected. I solved the issue by desoldering one of the 4,7k I2C pullups of the V2.0.4 shield. Please check for next shield version, thank you!

Increase current limit

Which components I need to change to operate motors with around 10-15A of peak current?
