The YAML database is stored in a Git repository and can be easily distributed amongst many computers and/or users.

Built in Java and distributed as an single uberjar. GPG is available for all major platforms.

Use passphrases (prefered for your security) or passwords, doesn't matter!

Two-factor authentication (even with hardware tokens such as the Yubikey NEO) by using GPG. Being able to use your passwords when the network is down and still be secure is a key goal!
