Allow other plugins to update sail states

Using the Signal K plugin configuration UI is a somewhat clunky way to record sail changes. It would be good to have the plugin subscribe to updates on sail active / reduced status and make calculations accordingly.

A simplified web UI for changing these records might be nice, but maybe should be done separately from this plugin.

Simple HOWTO available?

Hi!

I'd like to use this plugin. It seems to be exactly what I'm looking for since the e.g. KonniLogbook of OpenCPN feels totally bloated.

But how can I make entries such as "Main Sail up, Genoa up", or "Main sail 1st reef", or "Engine start/stop".
It seems to support it but I couldn't figure out how. I did install the signalk-sailsconfig plugin and added all may sails and available reefing states to its inventory.

Additional properties for sails

Sails typically have a bunch of measurements/design parameters, like

Instead of trying to accommodate all the various parameters in the plugin configuration / API schema maybe we could have just additional properties as key value pairs?
